The Audeville Society’s
Artist Grants

Our Artist Grants were established to support artists creating small-budget productions in New England.

In a region renowned for its rich cultural heritage, the struggle for emerging & small-budget productions to secure financial backing is a persistent challenge. Recognizing this gap, our grants fund was conceived as an effort to empower artists & amplify their voices. The fund identifies promising projects that embody innovation, diversity, & a commitment to pushing artistic boundaries.

One of our key strengths lies in our unwavering dedication to inclusivity. Our grants endeavor to create a more equitable & representative cultural landscape. Furthermore, we embrace a broad definition of "performance," encompassing not only traditional theater but also experimental works, immersive experiences, & interdisciplinary collaborations.

2024 Artist Grant Recipient

The Audeville Society is a large part of how I got to where I am now as an entertainer and headliner in Provincetown, MA. Creating art is hard. It is even harder with the economy right now and living in a pretty remote resort town. Receiving grant money from the Audeville Society has truly transformed my brand in remarkable ways. It has allowed me to collaborate with top-tier designers in wigs, costumes, and marketing, elevating the entire aesthetic for my shows.

Grants Available
Because we do not run on a traditional “grants cycle” with set deadlines - that is too difficult to arrange with performances being run throughout the year - we offer our grants on a first-come, first-served basis. Once our coffers run dry, we no longer offer new grants. We also don’t offer a set number of grants and instead give out money until we run out for the year. And, obviously, not everyone who applies will be guaranteed a grant - but if we require more information before making a decision, we will inquire.

If you have ANY questions about the grant application or granting process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us through our contact page.
